VM Execution & Job Troubleshooting
A failed VM start is an execution problem until proven otherwise. Begin with the job record, then correlate it with worker health, compatibility, storage, and network state.
DIAGNOSE
Start with the job
Open Compute Fabric and inspect the VM job record. Capture the execution host, current state, and failure detail before moving the VM or retrying it.
CHECK
Correlate dependencies
Check whether the selected worker is online and compatible, whether storage is available where expected, and whether the workload configuration changed. Use workload movement only after you understand whether the problem follows the VM or the execution host.
