Groups & Multi-Selection
Create a visual group container, title/lock it, drag-select multiple nodes, and execute group actions such as power-on.
Organize and operate groups of systems
Group containers provide a named visual boundary for related systems and can also be locked to protect their placement. Multi-selection lets you select several canvas objects at once and apply supported actions to the selected set.
Use groups for organization and multi-selection for operations; they are related tools but do not represent the same thing.
Procedure
Group Container Tool
Select the group-container tool from the Mission Planner action dock.
Draw Group Container
Drag on the canvas to draw the group boundary around the systems that belong together visually.
Configure Group Container
Give the group a meaningful title and set the available group options, such as locking the container when its placement should no longer change accidentally.
Canvas Multi Selection
Drag a selection box across the systems that should be operated on together. Selected nodes are highlighted as one working set.
Group Selection Actions
Use the multi-selection action menu to apply the supported operation to the selected systems rather than repeating it node by node.
The outcome you should see
The selected systems are contained/selected as intended and group-level actions apply to the selected set.
