Selection Details, Node Menus & Status Pills
Selection Details and context menus expose the state and actions for the object currently selected on the Mission Planner canvas.
Selection Details and context actions
Selecting a node opens its current runtime, interface, execution, and capacity information in Selection Details. Right-click context menus expose actions appropriate to the selected VM or network device.
Status pills provide a compact view of execution state, interfaces, and capacity. They can be shown or hidden from Data Layers, and runtime-status layers can also use color to make state immediately visible across the canvas. Use the pills when you want dense operational context before console access, snapshots, movement, or AI operations; hide them when a cleaner topology view is more useful.

Running Node Selection Details
Select a running node to see its runtime state, interfaces, execution placement, and capacity information in Selection Details.
Running VM Context Menu
Right-click a VM to open the operations available for that workload. The menu changes with the node type and current state.
Switch Context Menu
Right-click a switch to open the network-device operations available for that object.
Execution Status Pill
The execution status pill summarizes where the workload is running and the current execution state. Open or hover it when you need the worker-placement detail.
Interface Status Pill
The interface status pill summarizes the node’s configured network interfaces and current interface state.
Capacity Status Pill
The capacity status pill summarizes the workload’s requested resources and the current host-pressure or capacity information shown by Mission Planner.
The outcome you should see
Selecting a node shows the expected runtime, interface, execution, and capacity state, and the context menu exposes the actions supported for that object.
