Move a Workload to Another Execution Host
Move a VM workload from the Mission Planner context menu.
Change the execution host
A VM can be moved to another compatible execution host from its Mission Planner context menu. STRATUM presents destinations that satisfy the workload’s placement and compatibility requirements.
Choose the destination deliberately and wait for the workload to settle on the new host before starting another operation against it.
Procedure
Move VM Context Action
Open the VM context menu and choose the move action. STRATUM then evaluates destinations that can run the selected workload.
Compatible Execution Hosts
Choose the destination from the compatible execution hosts presented by STRATUM, then start the move and allow the VM to settle on the new host.
The outcome you should see
The workload is reassigned to the selected compatible execution host and returns to its expected running state.
