Link Impairment
Open link editing, configure latency/loss/other impairment controls, apply them, and read impairment state from the canvas/Selection Details.
Inject controlled network conditions
Link impairment applies deliberate latency, loss, or other supported network conditions to a selected Mission Planner link. It is intended for testing, validation, and fault-injection scenarios.
Open the link action, set only the impairment values required for the test, then confirm the active values in Selection Details or the link status.
Procedure
Link Context Menu Impairment
Open the selected link’s context menu and choose the impairment action for that link.
Configure Link Impairment
Enter the latency, loss, or other supported impairment values required by the test, then apply the change.
Link Impairment Status
After the change is applied, the link and Selection Details report the active impairment values so the test condition is visible to the operator.
The outcome you should see
The link reports the configured impairment values and the connected node/link detail reflects the active test condition.
