Stage STRATUM & Launch Host Manager
Copy the STRATUM release files to the host and start Host Manager (the stratum-host application). Host Manager is where host-specific settings are reviewed and applied before STRATUM starts.
Host Manager
Host Manager (the stratum-host application) is the boundary between host preparation and the application runtime. It exposes the settings that apply to the selected controller, compute-worker, or storage-worker role before STRATUM is started.
Review the menu for unsaved or unapplied changes before continuing. Host setup and application startup are separate actions, which makes it clear whether a change has been saved, applied to the host, or is still pending.
Procedure
Stage Installation Files
Place the supplied STRATUM release files in the installation directory on the target host, then start stratum-host from that release.
Host Manager Dashboard
Host Manager should open to its menu. Review the node role and the available Runtime, Host Setup, Network, Certificates, Demo Data, GPU, PCI, and Advanced settings before applying changes.
The outcome you should see
The STRATUM Host Manager menu is up and running, and the host configuration is available for review.
