Open and control a system console
The System Console provides interactive access to the selected VM or appliance. Console helper controls provide an optional virtual keyboard, text paste, removable-media management, and a full-browser view.
STRATUM presents this simply as the console. The underlying transport is an implementation detail and does not change how the session is used.
Procedure
Open Switch Console
Open the console from the selected system or appliance. The session stays associated with that selected object.
Console Virtual Keyboard
Use the virtual keyboard for keys or key combinations that are difficult to send reliably from the local browser or keyboard.
Console Paste Text
Use Paste Text to send prepared text into the console without retyping long commands or values.
Console Removable Media
Use the removable-media control to attach or change ISO/Guest Tools media for the selected VM, then verify the selected media is shown as connected.
Console Full Browser View
Open the console in the full-browser view when a larger working area is needed, then return to Mission Planner when the console task is complete.
The outcome you should see
The console session is usable and the helper controls operate without exposing implementation-specific console technology to the user.
