STRATUM / DATACENTERS THAT THINK™

DATACENTERS
THAT THINK™

STRATUM makes the complete datacenter a software artifact. Now let the datacenter reason about itself.

WHAT IT IS.

A datacenter packaged as software.

The datacenter is software.

STRATUM models more than virtual machines and abstract networks. It models the datacenter itself: compute, switches, ports, wiring, storage, GPUs, security, orchestration, topology, and operations. One versioned OCI image.

One file. One Datacenter as an Application™.

The unit of deployment is no longer a server or a VM. It is the complete virtual datacenter as an application.

WHY THAT MATTERS.

One deployable OCI image. Datacenter-level portability.

Applications learned to move. STRATUM makes the datacenter move with them.

Build once. Run anywhere. Version the environment, scan it, promote it, roll it back, and reproduce it without rebuilding the platform around every workload.

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT.

The infrastructure can think.

AI runs your infrastructure.

Replacing VMware just to replace VMware is not enough.

STRATUM gives you a reason to move.

AI is not bolted onto a virtualization dashboard. STRATUM exposes the infrastructure itself as something AI can understand, reason across, change, verify, and operate.

EXPLORE STRATUM AI
HOW IT WORKS.

Design. Deliver. Operate.

Treat infrastructure like a software product from composition through operation.

Design the datacenter.

Compose the environment visually.

Build systems, connect networks, attach storage, assign accelerators, and preserve the complete operating intent as one versioned environment.

Deliver the datacenter.

Promote infrastructure through DevSecOps.

The same artifact can move through registries, scanners, signing, software bills of materials, and release gates before it reaches production.

Operate the datacenter.

Command the environment in real time.

Topology, health, consoles, lifecycle state, GPU topology, and infrastructure actions from one operating layer.

WHAT IS INSIDE.

The fabrics and the software control layer.

A complete virtual datacenter, packaged as one operating model for infrastructure.

Infrastructure Fabrics

The network travels with the datacenter.

WHY ADOPTION IS PRACTICAL.

It fits the enterprise you already have.

Keep the golden image. Keep the accreditation. Add the datacenter.

A traditional virtualization platform can introduce another host operating system, another patching model, another hardening baseline, and another accreditation burden. STRATUM is an application on the Linux foundation you already secure, scan, patch, certify, and operate.

DIRECT ANSWERS.

Questions people ask before they move.

No vague answers. No reading between the lines.

01Is STRATUM just VMs in a container?+

No. The OCI image packages the infrastructure operating model itself. VMs are workloads inside it, alongside networking, storage relationships, security controls, orchestration, topology, accelerator infrastructure, and operations.

02Why replace VMware with STRATUM instead of another VMware-like platform?+

Replacing a hypervisor with another hypervisor changes the vendor. STRATUM changes the unit of deployment. The complete virtual datacenter becomes a versioned software artifact, and STRATUM AI can reason and act across that infrastructure model.

03Where can STRATUM run?+

On supported Linux systems across datacenters, cloud infrastructure, edge sites, Kubernetes-managed environments, and disconnected mission environments. The exact deployment model depends on the workload and platform requirements.

04Do we have to replace our approved Linux?+

No. STRATUM is designed to run as an application on the Linux foundation you already secure, patch, scan, and operate.

05What does STRATUM AI actually do?+

STRATUM exposes infrastructure actions and state to AI so intent can be translated into deterministic infrastructure operations, verification, troubleshooting, and desired-state changes.

06What is in the one OCI image?+

The STRATUM software payload and the definitions required to deliver the virtual datacenter operating model. Workload images and external data can remain separately managed where appropriate.
